Leganes has conducted medical examinations on the Nigerian star and will unveil it as the third summer signature on Wednesday, following the arrival of Jose Arnaiz and Oscar Rodriguez.

It is believed that the agreement is a one-season loan, OwnGoalNigeria reports.
Omeruo, 24, will spend the season on loan, with the option of making the permanent move for € 5 million next summer, with Chelsea also accepting a 20% future sale clause.

The Nigerian defender has never played competitive game for Chelsea since his arrival from Standard Liege in 2014.
Omeruo has also played on loan with Dutch side, ADO Den Haag, English team, Middlesbrough and Turkish clubs, Kasimpasa (twice) and Alanyasor.
