Pastor Chidiebere Okoroafor, the Senior Pastor of a new generation church, Alter of Grace Ministries, in Rivers state, who hails from Arochukwu in Abia State has been remanded in Rivers state prison after pleading guilty to charges of murder.
He was arrested for allegedly killing two women, one of which was five months pregnant in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State - in a bid to hide his alleged amorous relationship with a 25-year-old member of his church.
The alleged victims are Concilia Ezeawa and Uluoma Onweagba, who was five-months pregnant before her death. The cleric was said to have taken advantage of the trust the members had in him to lure and strangled Ezeawa in an uncompleted building. Also, the pregnant Onweagba was said to have been killed in a bush on December 11, 2017.
